Target Open Day 2018
Welcome Was it any good? Previous Open Days

Welcome to the Target Servers Plus 20th Anniversary Open Day 2018

Welcome to our Open Day 2018 post-event website.

As ever, the Open Day centered around providing attendees with great value; the ideas, advice, contacts, new products and brands that would make the long trip so many of you made and the time out of your business well worthwhile.

But this year was special - we're celebrating our 20th anniversary. So we had to pull out all the stops to make it a day to remember - and, if the feedback we've received is anything to go by, we did just that. A record 43 exhibitors, 16 workshops, 8 awards, 400 meals and over 300 attendees across 2 floors at the Cedar Court Hotel in Bradford.

Some of the day-time highlights included the UK trade's first glimpse of the much-anticipated RTX2070 graphics cards (courtesy of Gigabyte), a fight-to-the-death gaming tournament, no less than THREE brand launches (ThermalTake, Linksys and ECS), a busier than ever Enterprise Zone, and the return of the Smart-Home Zone. But the Open Day was far from over...

The evening's proceedings kicked off with a gala dinner for customers, exhibitors and Target staff, followed by a special edition of the ShopTalk National IT Reseller Awards, then what can only be described as controlled chaos courtesy of professional entertainer, Chrissy Bray (helped along, no doubt, by an all-night free bar!).

It was one to remember (for those who can’t, maybe the photos in our Gallery pages will jog your memory!) and – as so many of you have said – how do we top it next year? At this point we really don’t know, but we say that every year and it just seems to get better and better.

That's down to everyone who takes part – our customers, exhibitors, presenters, and of course the Target team - who create a unique atmosphere and make it such a great event.

We’re already wrestling with the challenge of how to top it next year, but for now, thank you, you've made our 20th better than we could have imagined.
